The Site and Pricing

It is a quiet site and there are no children, but dogs are allowed. It's £8.00 per night for a Caravan or Tent plus a further £7.50 per person per night. Cards for electric are to be purchased if and when needed.

 

 

Facilities

Current facilities include, electricity, hot water, washroom and W/C. There is more being developed as well.

What is there to do?

There are three restaurants within walking distance. All serve quality food and one features a large beer garden. There is a station in the village and it takes no time at all to get into the centre of the historic university city of Cambridge. There are many punts to rent to travel through the city on the river Cam.

 

Other places include Wimpole Hall and Anglsey Abbey which are both National Trust properties as well as Shepreth Wildlife park. There is also Audley End and Wrest Park which are both English Heritage. Duxford Imperial War Museum and Newmarket Racecourse are also not far away. The Tea/ Coffee shop in the village is an easy walk, there are plenty of public footpaths and an RSPB reserve up river.
